The picture shows a red-eyed tree frog holding up a leaf amidst the pouring rain. I thought that this great picture would carry the title and idea of my blog fairly well. This snapshot captured a moment in time, where everything is immortalised hence depicting “where time stood still”. This lil’ frog is holding up the leaf above it; maybe shielding itself from some of the rain as the storm wears on. I felt that it could be seen symbolically representing the shelter and comfort that each of us seek during one of life’s rainy days. With the leaf up and the frog looks ahead for a second, it could be something akin towards when one of us decides to take a breather and reflect on the current situation in the midst of all the chaos. With all of that moment being freeze-framed in this picture, may I present to you:-

‘Where time stood still – Writings from the middle of the storm known as life’

The red-eyed tree frog (Agalychnis calidryas) is native to the rainforests of South America and Central America.
